This journey started when Virginia's mom asked Jaye if he would make her some peanut brittle using her family recipe. She had tried to make it a few times but it never turned out exactly right. So Jaye started making it for her and the more he made it, the more he perfected his own twist on her old fashioned brittle. We shared it with our friends and after many suggestions that we should start selling it, Jaye's Twisted Brittle was born. It's not your ordinary brittle that's hard and sticky; it's airy and light and never sticks to your teeth. Try it and see for yourself that it's not your grandma's old brittle. Enjoy!

Jaye is a U.S. Military Veteran, having served 5 years in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is retired with 24 years of telecommunications service. Virginia is retired with 31 years of State service. We are happy grandparents, PaPa J and ViVi, to our grandson Brooks whom we love to spend time with. We are also huge Carolina Hurricanes fans and enjoy tailgating with our West Side Tailgate friends every home game. We even travel to a few Canes away games each season.
